![]() ☄ First Impressions ♚ VISUAL: Edgar was around 17 yours old when he got turned into vampire. He has dark brown curly hair and very bright blue eyes. Rosy lips and cheeks along with slight traces of childhood roundness gives him a youthful look. His body is slender and lean, limbs slim, no doubt from having to spend childhood playing outside rather than inside. But there are few things about him that are odd, giving away his true identity: Edgar is awfully cold when touched, as if there is no warmth in his body at all. He doesn't have pulse/heartbeat and he doesn't breathe (however, he fakes the latter one). If one's lucky enough they might notice that he doesn't have a reflection on mirrors or on any other reflective surfaces (he can make one appear tho.) Here are some examples of how Edgar looks like: 1 and 2. All live action icons are from Takarazuka Revenue's 2018 adaptation of the manga and the actress is Asumi Rio. So despite being portrayed by Japanese actress he's supposed to be British. ♚ FASHION: Edgar's fashion aims to be neutral yet fashionable. He aims to blend in. ♚ DEMEANOUR: "silent" and "smooth" are the words that I would use to describe Edgar's demeanor and movement. Again, his main objective is not to stand out. He carries his body very lightly like a dancer and can move around without making any sound. There's well practiced and carefree elegance to his gestures that can also be read as an arrogance, giving an aristocratic impression of him. When talking to him Edgar often appears extremely confident and smug. As if he knows a secret that the other one doesn't. ♚ SOUND: In manga Edgar is described to be male soprano. He speaks with clear and soft voice for the most of part and articulates perfectly. He switches between languages and slang depending on his location. He can speak several languages fluently such as: English, French, Germany, Latin, Swedish, Polish.. the list goes on! here's what he sounds on the stage adaptation. ♚ SCENT: Edgar is clean and always has distinct scent of roses and blood. ♚ MENTAL INFORMATION: Well, the first thing that telepaths are going to pick is that this soft boy isn't actually a teenager or even a human: he's a vampire that's lived over 200 years. He's constantly observing his surroundings, picking up smallest hints of the people and their train of thought to make himself more malleable. There's also sense of danger and death around him. However, if dug deeper there can be found loneliness and grief from losing his younger sister. ♚ MAGICAL INFORMATION: He's dead and not clearly a human. ☄ OOC ♚ BACKTAGGING: Yes definitely! I live on GMT+2 zone, which means I'll be up and around different time than most. ♚ FOURTHWALLING: No thank you! Although, it'd be funny to meet a character who's fan of Hagio Moto's works. ♚ PHYSICAL AFFECTION: Absolutely. Edgar is very affectionate person: holding hands, touching necks, cheeks and hair. Cuddling and light kisses are given but sex itself is going to take.. some work, let’s say. He’s not necessarily interested in chasing after carnal pleasure. ♚ PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: Another yes. Edgar can be very difficult to harm due to his superhuman abilities such as speed and instincts (spider senses are tingling!) but it's not impossible. What's even more difficult than injuring him is to kill him as he can survive from things like being shot in the head and drowned in frozen lake. ♚ RELATIONSHIPS: Yes with proper development. Edgar is difficult to ship with people considering that he is a lot older than what he appears to be. However, it should be noted that Edgar is looking for emotional and intellectual connection rather than physical and has very little interest in sex. ♚ OFFENSIVE TOPICS: I don’t really have triggers of my own. As long darker content and topics that need trigger warnings are discussed beforehand oocly I’m ok! ☄ Permissions Can Edgar drink your character's blood? Edgar remains undead in the game and will still need blood in order to survive. However, this is something that he will do only in dire need or as self-defense. Whether he leaves his victim alive depends on the situation but considering the setting he'd like to avoid unnecessary deaths. |
